Job summary

RiDiK seeks an experienced frontend developer in Singapore to deliver end-to-end solutions with React.js and modern frontend tooling. You will collaborate with backend, UX/UI, and product teams to translate requirements into clean, scalable code.

The role emphasizes code quality, Agile practices, and active contribution to CI/CD and DevSecOps. A Diploma or Degree in CS/IT/SE is required, with strong communication for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional frontend development experience within a total IT background of 9+ years.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context API).
• Experience with frontend build tools and Git version control.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and frontend testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Job description

• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Support integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues to ensure smooth operation in production
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirement:

• Minimum 4-5 years of professional frontend development experience over 9 years of IT experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, etc.)
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control using Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields

Preferred

• Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa, etc.)
• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
• Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Understanding of frontend security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, etc.)
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
