Job summary

Ariston Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced frontend developer with a strong React background to build modern, scalable, and user-centric interfaces for our AWS platform improvements. You will collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role emphasizes writing clean, testable code, code quality through peer reviews, and participation in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 4-5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, etc.).
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Job description

To accelerate delivery of our AWS Platform improvement program, we are looking to bring in an additional frontend developer with a strong React development background to strengthen our team. You'll play a key role in building modern, scalable, and user-centric interfaces that enhance our cloud platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Support integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues to ensure smooth operation in production
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirement:

• Minimum 4-5 years of professional frontend development experience over 9 years of IT experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, etc.)
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control using Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, etc.)

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa, etc.)
• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
• Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Understanding of frontend security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, etc.)
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
