Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Java Developer to join a leading investment bank's Singapore development center. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, building robust APIs and microservices using modern frameworks.

Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and tech leads to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. The role emphasizes code quality, continuous improvement, and opportunity for growth within a technology-driven bank with a strong engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8+).
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Web Services, Microservices.
• Strong understanding of Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Flink, Storm, HBase, Elasticsearch.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, Jenkins.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, JUnit, Cucumber, Jira, Sonar.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management, and Production Support.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Banking or Cash Management domain experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities
