Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.
• Professional working proficiency in Japanese required to communicate with clients.
• Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
• Established networks within the marine industry are an advantage.
• Knowledge of maritime satellite communication services is an advantage.
• Experience as a Radio Officer or maritime operations is an added advantage.
• Established business relationships with ship managers and shipowners are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with marine and offshore customers.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships to generate new business.
• Gather customer requirements and communicate market insights to internal teams.
• Leverage product, service, and operational expertise to develop solutions and growth.
• Prepare and oversee sales proposals and negotiate commercial contracts for management approval.
• Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and events to identify opportunities.
