SYMPHONY FINANCIAL PARTNERS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an investment professional with hands-on M&A deal experience to research Japanese companies and assess opportunities arising from acquisitions, tender offers, restructurings, and other corporate events.

The role involves building financial models and delivering clear investment views to portfolio managers. You will read Japanese filings and market commentary, engage with companies, and monitor live transactions to identify changes that

Qualifications

• More than three years of professional M&A deal experience.
• Experience in transaction analysis and execution including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with strong academic record; degrees in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or related quantitative discipline welcome.
• Native Japanese language skills and strong written and spoken English.
• Experience with Japanese tender offers, listed companies, or cross-border transactions is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Research Japanese listed companies, their ownership structures, financial performance, and strategic options.
• Analyze announced and potential M&A transactions, including valuation, deal terms, financing, regulatory considerations, and likelihood of completion.
• Build financial models and develop clear investment recommendations for portfolio managers.
• Read Japanese filings, company announcements, and market commentary, and engage with companies and market participants.
• Monitor live transactions and identify changes that affect the investment case.
