Job summary

The Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an experienced engineer to drive ITS at signalised pedestrian crossings. You will lead the implementation and enhancement of safety measures, analyze activation data, and support policy decisions to improve the road network for all commuters.

Responsibilities include managing ITS projects, budgeting and contractor oversight, planning maintenance programmes, testing systems, and reviewing fault statistics.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in systems engineering, project management, or maintenance management in traffic or transportation.
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights for operations.
• Interest in operations and maintenance environments with problem-solving focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage ITS projects, including budgeting and contractor management to meet deliverables on time and within budget.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance programmes with site inspections and testing.
• Review fault statistics and KPIs to support efficient road network operations.
• Manage resources, schedules and contractors; ensure contractual obligations are met and drive improvements.
• Analyze data to evaluate initiative effectiveness and support policy decisions; engage stakeholders.
