EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, TRAFFIC SCHEMES DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

What you will be working on

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team with strong design and traffic analysis skills as you guide the planning and execution of traffic management strategies. You will be advising developers, consultants, and agencies from the initial planning and design stages to the implementation and ongoing review. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to identify traffic management needs, developing innovative solutions, overseeing the execution of plans, and continually assessing their effectiveness to ensure optimal traffic flow and safety. You will also be spearheading projects to enhance road safety and create an improved living environment for all road users. You will leverage on data science techniques and advanced geographic information systems (GIS) tools such as QGIS to analyse traffic patterns and make data-driven recommendations that improve the travel experience for commuters, motorists, and cyclists. What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Civil / Traffic / Transportation Engineering or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in Traffic / Transportation-related or operational fields / familiar with human factors, road design concepts, data analytics and/or statistics are preferred
• Possess initiative, strong analytical skills, good communication skills with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability
• Class 3 driving licence is preferred
• Knowledge of GIS/Traffic Microsimulation is an advantage
