Job summary

MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a technician to troubleshoot and diagnose system and PCBA failures, perform component replacements, and re-test repairs on a day shift (7am–7pm) or night shift (7pm–7am) in Tampines.

The role supports Debug Engineers, assists with data collection and corrective actions, and requires knowledge of troubleshooting, RCA, basic programming, and debugging. Applicants receiving consideration will be contacted for next steps.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and RCA to isolate faults.
• Familiarity with debugging techniques and basic programming.
• Experience with PCBA repair and component replacement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose system and PCBA failures, perform component replacements (e.g. CPU, DIMM, drives), and conduct re-testing to verify repairs.
• Assist Debug Engineers with testing, data collection, failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Update debug records, document repair actions, and ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and ESD/ISO standards.
• Support engineers and guide operators on proper handling, configuration, and debug procedures.
