Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte. Ltd. is recruiting for a role supporting Debug Engineers in a manufacturing environment in Tampines, Singapore.

You will assist with data collection, troubleshooting, and corrective actions across NPI and sustaining builds. Ideal candidates have NITEC or Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, basic Python or C++, and a good grasp of server systems and RCA methodologies.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Good understanding of server systems and RCA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++, with debugging skills.
• Ability to read and interpret test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Support Debug Engineers in executing troubleshooting activities for both NPI and sustaining builds, including data collection, test replication, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Perform system and PCBA-level troubleshooting using standard diagnostic tools, limit trees, and work instructions to identify root causes and faulty components.
• Carry out authorized rework activities such as CPU, DIMM, and drive replacements, as well as connector and cable inspections.
• Conduct re-testing to validate failure symptoms and support yield improvement initiatives; escalate recurring or abnormal issues to engineers with clear and detailed findings.
• Update debug logs, failure codes, and repair actions in SFC or relevant tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting and traceability.
• Adhere to all Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ESD/ISO requirements. Assist in reviewing and updating documentation as processes evolve.
• Provide guidance to operators and material handlers on proper handling procedures, configurations, and debug-related practices.
