Job summary

SINGCON (M&E) Services Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive IT Support Assistant to provide day-to-day office IT support for hardware, software and system issues in our Singapore office. You will set up and maintain computers, printers and IT equipment, install OS and applications, and troubleshoot connectivity and network problems.

Qualifications

• IT support experience is beneficial.
• Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with network basics and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to office staff for hardware, software and system-related issues.
• Set up and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other office IT equipment.
• Install, configure and update operating systems, software and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, email accounts and access permissions.
• Maintain office network, Wi-Fi, printers and other IT infrastructure.
• Perform regular system updates, backups and basic security checks.
• Assist in purchasing and maintaining IT equipment and software licences.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper asset records are kept.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Provide basic IT training and guidance to employees.
• Ensure IT systems and equipment are properly maintained and secure.
• Perform other IT and administrative duties as assigned by management
