Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain features across Angular frontend, Java Spring Boot backend, and MySQL database, leveraging AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to improve efficiency and code quality.

You will build user interfaces, backend APIs, and business logic, ensure system integration, and participate in code reviews and agile delivery to create secure, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as software developer/engineer, preferably in Agile projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java/Python/.Net).
• Strong proficiency in frontend framework (JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3/Angular/React).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar) and modern development framework.
• Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex programming challenges with creative solutions.
• Experience in using AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery, improve test coverage, and support product enhancement.
• Knowledge of application security and best practices in development standards.
• Experience driving product development through Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across Angular frontend and Java Spring Boot backend.

We’re Hiring: IT Software Engineer!

We are looking for a skilled IT Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, with expertise in coding, debugging, and system design. You will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that enhance our technological capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

• a) Design, develop, test, integrate, andmaintain application features across the Angular frontend, Java Spring Bootbackend and MySQL database, leveraging AI-assisted development tools whereappropriate to improve efficiency and code quality;
• b) Build user interfaces, backend APIs andbusiness logic, database schemas and queries, system integration, defectfixing, performance tuning, deployment support, and technical documentation,with the support of AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery and enhanceconsistency;
• c) Develop and execute unit tests forfrontend and backend modules, including the use of AI-assisted techniques to improve test coverage and identify edge cases;
• d) Participate in code reviews and ensurecompliance with the Authority’s coding standards and best practices (i.e. OWASPSecure Coding Practices);
• e) Support application build, packaging,and deployment activities across development, testing, and productionenvironments;
• f) Troubleshoot and resolve applicationissues identified during development, testing, or production operation,leveraging AI-assisted diagnostics and analysis tools to improve resolutionefficiency;
• g) Prepare and maintain technicaldocumentation including system design, API specifications, and databasedocumentation;
• h) Collaborate with relevant stakeholders,participate in agile delivery activities, and ensure delivered components aresecure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business and technicalrequirements;
• i) Manage Tech Projects for systemsoperational and maintenance works together with new initiatives/enhancementsthat are outsourced to our existing ICT O&M contractors; and
• j) Collaborate with business &technology stakeholders, work closely with external parties, ICT providers orgovernment agencies to drive new initiatives/enhancements.

Requirements:
