Job summary

Success Resource Centre Pte Ltd is seeking a showroom-based Smart Home Sales Consultant in Tampines. You will meet homeowners, designers, and electricians to assess needs, then propose tailored IoT solutions and provide quotations and demonstrations.

The role requires a Polytechnic Diploma in ICT, 1+ year experience, and strong communication with clients and partners. Schedule is 5 days, 9am–5pm with weekend flexibility; up to S$2,900 monthly plus commission.

Monthly Salary: Up to $2,900 + Commission

• Propose tailored smart home solutions that align with client requirements and lifestyle.
• Explain IoT technologies and solutions in simple, client-friendly terms.
• Answer client questions and provide technical clarifications during the pre-sales process.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth installation and setup during renovations.

• Will be working in the showroom primarily

Working hours:

• 5 days work week (including weekends), 9am – 5pmwith flexibility for weekends/public holidays to match renovation schedules or client handovers.
• Time off-in-lieu will be provided where appropriate.
• Up to $2,900 + Commission
  

Job Requirements:

• Polytechnic Diploma in Information Systems, Infocomm Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience (including internships/projects).
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to build rapport with both clients and partners (IDs, electricians, contractors).
• Basic knowledge of networking and IoT (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, RF, IR, Bluetooth).
• Interest in smart home technologies and eagerness to learn on the job.
• Good organisational skills to handle multiple client projects.
• Sales-driven mindset with willingness to hit monthly targets.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with smart devices like Philips Hue, TP-Link, Sonos, or Google Home.
• Pre-sales or customer-facing experience.
• Basic scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Node-RED, Home Assistant).
• Driver’s License (preferred) — as site visits to clients and renovation sites are required.
• Ensure sales targets are met while maintaining strong client relationships.
