The role requires 10+ years IT experience in Hybrid/Agile environments, strong SDLC knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable IT outcomes across geographies.

Job Summary

This role is for an IT Project Manager / Business Analyst experienced in managing Agile projects and squads. You will lead end-to-end project delivery, engaging stakeholders across departments and geographies to support the Bank's digital channels and innovation roadmap in Asia.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detail project ideas by assessing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, risks, and success factors in consultation with Business and IT stakeholders
• Develop comprehensive project proposals including objectives, resources, milestones, schedules, costs, and project structure
• Drive project proposals through demand governance processes to secure approvals
• Establish and implement project management processes to measure performance and report status to senior stakeholders
• Initiate timely escalations to senior stakeholders when project risks or issues arise
• Develop detailed project plans and create work breakdown structures including subprojects and work packages
• Organize project teams by identifying and managing stakeholders and team members effectively
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution
• Facilitate project meetings including SIT/UAT checkpoint calls, BRD walkthroughs, and solution walkthroughs to align teams
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues at an operational level to maintain delivery quality
• Assess impacts of change requests and issues on project plans; develop and reconcile solution proposals with governance stakeholders
• Oversee rollout and go-live activities and coordinate handover of solutions to Operations teams
• Implement project-related quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize customer journeys, design features, and prioritize product backlogs
• Present project progress, challenges, and solutions confidently to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Define vision and strategy for digital solutions, managing full product lifecycle from ideation to scaling, integrating user feedback into requirements
• Represent IT Asia as IT Project Lead or Scrum Master in engagements with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively mitigate risks and communicate project updates clearly and timely to stakeholders
• Lead knowledge sharing sessions with Run-The-Bank teams on new modules or functionalities to ensure smooth adoption
• Ensure predictable delivery by maintaining regular stakeholder updates on progress and risks
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations for digital solutions
• Demonstrate and promote ethical behavior, integrity, due care, fair dealing, conflict of interest management, competence, risk management, and compliance with laws and regulations within the function

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience managing Hybrid and Agile projects as Project Manager and Business Analyst
• Proven track record of delivering major projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards in matrix team environments
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and project financials including forecasting and actuals
• Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including running Agile ceremonies and managing Agile teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Domain expertise in Wealth Management or Private Banking functional areas
• Familiarity with banking technology trends and digital channels, especially online trading across asset classes
• Experience with product discovery and delivery, including understanding user needs and driving impactful solutions
• Knowledge of design thinking and agile frameworks, partnering with research, design, change, and technology teams
