Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an IT/OT Network Engineer for a permanent role in East Singapore. You will provision network resources, onboard tools in OT environments, and coordinate switch configurations to ensure secure tool connectivity.

The role requires a diploma in IT or related field with at least 3 years in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity. Experience with VLAN provisioning, IP assignment, and firewall rules (Check Point or similar) is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent; minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with VLAN provisioning, IP assignment and firewall rule implementation (Check Point or similar).
• Experience conducting security assessments or risk evaluations for new tools or systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and policy-compliant tool onboarding.
• Work with the cybersecurity team to validate assessment findings and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Manage small-scale projects related to IT/OT integration and onboarding.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineer or equivalent, with minimum 3 years experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with VLAN provisioning, IP assignment, and firewall rule implementation (Check Point or similar).
• Experience conducting security assessments or risk evaluations for new tools or systems.
• Exposure to IT/OT integration projects or industrial environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Good interpersonal skills and team collaboration; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
