Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Banking Industry projects. You will lead large-scale core banking initiatives with ambitious technical and functional challenges.

The role requires strong Agile delivery, deep knowledge of core banking processes, cloud-based deployments, and proficiency with PM tools like JIRA and ServiceNow. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in Banking Industry as a Functional or Technical Project Manager.
• Demonstrable experience managing large-scale core banking projects with ambitious technical and functional challenges.
• Experience delivering projects with Agile methodology (Scrum or SAFe).
• Technical knowledge on software application customization, packaging, implementation and monitoring/support over Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Containerization (Docker/K8S/OSC), CICD, Cybersecurity and authentication.
• Core Banking systems knowledge with strong knowledge of transaction capture, settlement and accounting booking.
• Knowledge of financial products across Securities, Payments, Money Markets, FX, Credit, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commodities, Mutual Funds.
• Knowledge of payment and transaction settlement systems (SWIFT, SEPA and local systems).
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in PM tools (JIRA, Service Now, PPM tools) and MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio).

Job description

• Demonstrable and relevant experience in managing large scale core banking projects with ambitious technical and functional challenges.
• Experience in delivering projects with Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum or SAFe)
• Technical knowledge and relevant experience on Software Application customization, packaging, implementation and monitoring/support over Cloud technologies, Containerization (Docker/K8S/OSC),CICD, Cybersecurity and authentication.
• Core Banking systems knowledge and experience:
• Strong knowledge of transaction capture, settlement and accounting booking
• Good knowledge of financial products and on their underlying (Securities, Payments, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Derivatives and Structured Products, Commodities, Mutual Funds), as well as corporate actions processing
• Knowledge of payment and transaction settlement systems (SWIFT, SEPA, local domestic systems in Europe and in Asia)
• Good communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools as well as issue and release management, production and support (JIRA, Service Now, PPM tools, etc.)
• Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio.
