You will lead the configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco wireless architectures, while supporting core routing, switching, and related appliances to ensure robust campus connectivity.

The role requires hands-on Cisco Wireless expertise, proficiency with monitoring tools, and the ability to maintain accurate network topologies.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and managing Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers.
• Experience deploying Cisco Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7 access points.
• Ability to create and maintain network topology diagrams and AP location maps.
• Proficient in SSID management, MAC filtering, and client troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco wireless architectures.

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer specializing in enterprise wireless environments to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will lead the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco wireless architectures, while supporting core routing, switching, and auxiliary network appliances.

Key Responsibilities

Cisco Wireless Infrastructure (Mandatory)

• Configure and manage advanced Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers.
• Deploy and optimize Cisco Wi‑Fi 6, 6E, and Wi‑Fi 7 access points (APs).
• Create and maintain accurate network topology and AP location diagrams.
• Handle administrative controls, including SSID management and client MAC address filtering.
• Troubleshoot signal degradation and connectivity issues.
• Escalate software bugs to the central wireless team and log tickets with Cisco TAC.
• Maintain cold-spare hardware inventories to ensure minimal downtime during replacements.
• Familiar with SDA (Software-Defined Access) wireless network architecture

Cisco Core Network Maintenance (Preferred)

• Manage Cisco enterprise routing and switching infrastructure, including Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI fabrics.
• Oversee IP address management, subnetting, and VLAN configurations.
• Track hardware inventory, including device models, serial numbers, and maintenance contracts.
• Maintain cold-spare hardware inventories to ensure minimal downtime during replacements.

Terminal Server and UPS/ATS Management (Good to Have)

• Administer Perle terminal servers for new manufacturing fab equipment
• Configure and deploy Network UPS and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
• Manage lifecycle operations, inventory tracking, and spare hardware.

Specialized Network Appliances (Good to Have)

• Support Cisco Meraki platforms for mobile device and guest Wi‑Fi management.
• Maintain SMS gateways, specifically Talariax SendQuick Entera appliances.
• Perform routine firmware and software upgrades across all auxiliary appliances.

Network Monitoring & Administration (Good to Have)

• Monitor network health using Zabbix, SolarWinds Kiwi CatTools, Advanced Host Monitor, and Kiwi Syslog Server.
• Manage software licensing and vendor renewals.
• Liaise with software support vendors to resolve technical glitches and system bugs.
