Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore seeks a dedicated Test Development Engineer to drive test strategy and characterization for new products (NPI). You will partner with design, manufacturing and QA to ensure performance and compliance.

You will build plans and documentation, conduct tests, and analyze results, enabling smooth product launches and continuous improvement. Experience with ATE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
• Experience in product development, design, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in phyton and data analytic software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with industrial standard ATE (V93K, T2000, Uflex+)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Test Development leader together to drive test strategy, test plan and characterization plan definition for NPI product development.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality assurance teams throughout the product development process.
• Build technical documentation, including characterization plans, test plans, hardware request document, test status report and characterization report.
• Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance and compliance with standards.
• Manage sample testing, anticipate potential issues and adjust processes to fulfill sample demand.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during development and production.
• Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.
• Evaluate and improve existing products to enhance cost efficiency, output and quality by increasing yield, reducing test time, analyzing customer returns and test coverage improvement.

• Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.
