IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Leader for Education

Job summary

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) invites an experienced technology leader to own the organisation’s network and cyber security across campuses. Reporting to the Head of Department, this role blends hands-on management with strategic planning and team development.

You will administer Fortinet firewalls, SD-WAN, and hybrid Windows/Apple endpoints, implement security controls, and ensure PDPA/MOE compliance while building a capable IT team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security, including at least 3 years supervising a technical team
• Experience contributing to IT strategy, annual work planning and budget preparation
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise firewalls and wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Hands-on experience managing and securing a hybrid Windows and Apple endpoint estate
• Experience administering core server and identity infrastructure — Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP — together with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security in a hybrid environment
• Experience in cyber security governance — policies, controls assurance and risk reporting
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IT strategy and technology roadmap in line with the direction of the organisation.
• Develop the annual IT work plan and project portfolio with the Head of Department, and track and report on delivery.
• Plan technology lifecycle and refresh cycles across infrastructure, endpoints and services.
• Prepare and justify the annual IT budget with the Head of Department and monitor expenditure.
• Supervise the IT team — set objectives, performance reviews and development.
• Plan team coverage across term time, examination periods and campus events.
• Own network and security estate across campuses including firewalls, SD-WAN and endpoint security.
• Design, implement and assure security controls across infrastructure, endpoints and cloud services.
• Maintain IT risk register, security posture, and vendor management for IT services.
• Coordinate incident response, disaster recovery exercises and staff security awareness programs.
