Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED in Biopolis, Singapore is seeking an IT Executive to manage IT infrastructure, user support and security for a biotech environment. The role involves maintaining hardware/software, access controls, and governance while driving automation and dashboard initiatives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business units to identify technology needs, implement practical solutions, and oversee IT projects and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT or related discipline required.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant IT experience in support, admin or corporate IT.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, user-access management and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, data-protection and IT governance practices.
• Exposure to workflow automation, dashboards or AI-enabled applications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to optimise business processes across departments.
• Maintain IT hardware, software, user accounts, assets and system access.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Support IT security, access controls, data protection and internal policies.
• Work with business users to identify technology needs and recommend practical solutions.
• Support development and maintenance of internal systems, dashboards, workflow tools and automation solutions.
• Guide users on the responsible use of AI-enabled tools and prepare relevant documentation.
• Coordinate IT projects, system enhancements and implementation activities.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Monitor developments in cybersecurity, automation, AI and emerging technologies.
• Perform other related IT duties and projects as assigned.

• Position: IT Executive

• Location: Biopolis

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + AWS + Medical Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Biotechnology

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to optimise business processes across departments.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of hardware, software, networking, user-access management and IT infrastructure.

• Familiar with cybersecurity, data-protection and IT governance practices.

• Exposure to workflow automation, dashboards, low-code tools or AI-enabled applications would be advantageous.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical and project-coordination skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud platforms or common enterprise applications would be advantageous.
