Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation infrastructure across islandwide Singapore sites. You will manage Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for enterprise hosting, automate with GitLab CI/CD, and administer Linux/Windows servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS).

Salary and benefits: SGD 4,500–5,200 plus SGD 300 allowance; 8:30am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri; excellent staff benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC/Diploma in IT Engineering or equivalent certification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure.
• Cloud environment deployment and maintenance experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation infrastructure (VCF, vSAN, NSX, vCenter, SDDC Manager).
• Deploy and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for enterprise hosting.
• Automate provisioning and deployments using VMware Aria Automation and GitLab CI/CD.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS).
• Monitor performance, health, and resource usage across VMware Cloud, Tanzu, and Kubernetes.
• Support security hardening and coordinate security assessments (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS).
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues to maximize availability.
• Collaborate with HQ technical teams and Government CISO teams on projects and improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Job Scope

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) infrastructure, including vSAN, NSX, vCenter, and SDDC Manager.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for enterprise application hosting.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using VMware Aria Automation and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, including web servers such as Tomcat, Apache, and IIS.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, system health, and resource utilization across VMware Cloud, Tanzu, and Kubernetes environments.

• Implement infrastructure security hardening and coordinate security assessments, including DAST, SAST, Penetration Testing (PT), and Security Vulnerability Scanning (SVS).

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure, system, and application issues to ensure high system availability.

• Work closely with HQ technical teams and Government CISO teams to support project implementation, operational improvements, and issue resolution.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  

Requirement

• Higher NITEC/Diploma in IT Engineering or relevant certifications such as CISSP/CCNA/CCNP

• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

• Experience with cloud environment deployment and maintenance is an advantage
