Job summary

Well Established Security Technology Company in Singapore seeks a skilled engineer to deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation and Tanzu/Kubernetes clusters. You will use Aria Automation and GitLab CI for automated provisioning, and administer Linux/Windows servers and web apps (Tomcat/Apache/IIS).

Expect rigorous security testing and cross-team collaboration with HQ and CISO teams. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in IT Engineering and 1–2 years of relevant cloud experience, with certifications

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT Engineering or equivalent certification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cloud deployment and maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters.
• Use Aria Automation and GitLab CI for automated provisioning and deployments.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS) and apps.
• Monitor performance and resource usage within VCF, Tanzu, and Kubernetes.
• Implement security hardening baselines and oversee security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS).
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Collaborate with HQ teams and government CISO Teams, provide feedback.

Salary: $4500 - $5500 + $300 Allowance

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Working location: Jurong (Based on Project Site)

Job Scope

• Deploy, configure, and maintain the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) infrastructure (vSAN, NSX, vCenter, SDDC Manager).
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for application hosting.
• Utilize Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines for automated resource provisioning and application deployments.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server operating systems, web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS), and applications.
• Monitor system performance, health, and resource utilization within the VCF, Tanzu, and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement security hardening baselines and oversees security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS) based on policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Collaborate with HQ technical teams and government CISO Teams, providing operational feedback and addressing issues.

Requirement

• Higher NITEC/Diploma in IT Engineering or relevant certifications such as CISSP/CCNA/CCNP
• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with cloud environment deployment and maintenance is an advantage
