Job summary

Advance Intelligence Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive IT Engineer to keep our workplace running smoothly, our tools sharp, and our spend smart. This role covers networks, licenses, vendors, and projects, and requires taking full ownership from scoping to completion.

You will manage procurement, SaaS rollouts, license allocations, security of office networks, and cross-region coordination using tools like Lark and Slack.

Qualifications

• Strong ownership to drive tickets and contracts to completion.
• Proactive in spotting problems and proposing solutions.

• Self-directed, prioritizes ruthlessly with minimal supervision.
• Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs.

• Good security awareness: MDM, endpoint protection, patching.

Responsibilities

• Scope, execute, and ship IT initiatives end-to-end, from office moves to SaaS rollouts.
• Manage hardware/software procurement and recurring payments, tracking subscriptions and spend.
• Control SaaS license allocation — assign seats, audit usage, renew contracts.
• Maintain office network health and security, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs.
• Manage vendor relationships — negotiate contracts, ensure SLAs, build scalable relations.
• Resolve issues across Windows, macOS, SaaS platforms, and IoT networks.
• Leverage AI and scripts to automate admin tasks and optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and cross-regionally via Lark and direct communication.

About The Role
We are looking for a proactive IT Engineer to keep our workplace running smoothly, our tools sharp, and our spend smart. This role operates with minimal supervision across the moving parts of modern IT — networks, licenses, vendors, and projects — and is expected to take full ownership of every ticket, project, and contract from scoping through completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Scope, execute, and ship ad-hoc IT initiatives end-to-end, from office moves to SaaS rollouts.
• Manage hardware/software procurement and recurring payments, tracking subscriptions and keeping IT spend transparent and optimized.
• Control SaaS license allocation — assign seats, audit usage, eliminate shadow IT, and renew IT contracts.
• Maintain office network health and security, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi APs, and VPNs.
• Manage vendor relationships — negotiate contracts, hold partners accountable to SLAs, and build relationships that scale.
• Resolve technical issues across Windows, macOS, SaaS platforms, and IoT networks.
• Leverage AI and scripts creatively to automate complex administration tasks and optimize system efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and cross-regionally via Lark and direct communication to align operations.

• Good security awareness — MDM, endpoint protection, patching, password hardening, etc.
• Clear communicator across chat, ticket, and video channels, with strong follow-through to close the loop.
