Job summary

BP QUANTUM ADVISORY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an IT Manager / Technology Lead in Singapore to drive the AI-enabled financial advisory platform. You will lead technology strategy, coordinate with founders, business teams and external vendors, and deliver a secure, scalable end-to-end AI engine that the company can own.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, architecture, and building in-house capability while ensuring data governance, security and scalable integrations across the business

Qualifications

IT Manager – AI-Enabled Financial Advisory Platform

Location: Singapore | Employment Type: Full-time | Reports to: Founder / CEO**

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Manager / Technology Lead to lead the development of our AI-enabled financial advisory firm. This is a technology leadership and delivery role, not traditional IT support. You will work with the Founder, business teams and external technology/AI vendors to build a secure, scalable and future-proof end-to-end AI engine, while transferring it into in-house technology capability and company-owned IP.

Key Responsibilities

AI Technology & Platform

• Own the AI technology roadmap and architecture, ensuring scalability, security, API integration and minimal vendor lock-in.
• Work with vendors to build and integrate the complete business cycle:
  Lead Management → CRM → Customer Onboarding → Adviser Operations → AI Product Intelligence → Product Comparison → Customer Service → Analytics.

• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions and manage implementation, UAT and system upgrades.
• Identify and implement opportunities to use AI, AI agents and automation to improve customer experience, adviser productivity and operational efficiency.
• Continuously monitor, improve and upgrade AI models, knowledge bases and workflows.

AI Security & Data Protection

• Establish strong AI security, cybersecurity and data governance practices. Protect customer, financial and proprietary company data.
• Assess risks relating to AI models, agents, APIs and third-party platforms, including data leakage, prompt injection and unauthorised access. Ensure appropriate access controls, encryption, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery. Support compliance with applicable Singapore regulatory and data protection requirements.

Vendor Management

• Lead relationships with external technology and AI vendors.
• Manage requirements, deliverables, timelines, budgets, quality and integrations.
• Ensure critical technology and IP are appropriately documented and contractually protected.

Build In-House Technology & IP

• Recruit, mentor and develop in-house technology talent. Establish structured knowledge transfer from external vendors.
• Ensure internal staff progressively understand and can manage the architecture, integrations, AI workflows and systems.
• Reduce dependency on vendors over time and build the capability to manage, maintain, improve and upgrade the platform internally.
• Protect and progressively build company-owned technology and AI IP.

Ideal Candidate

• 5–10 years in IT, digital technology, systems integration, product technology or related fields.
• Strong experience with CRM, APIs, cloud, SaaS, system integration and data architecture.
• Experience implementing or managing AI-enabled solutions and automation.
• Understanding of AI security, cybersecurity and data protection.
• Strong vendor, project and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial and able to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience in FinTech, InsurTech, Insurance or Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Experience building an in-house technology team is an advantage.
