IT Director

(Based at Corporate HQ, Singapore)

Cosmo Fabric is a leading global textile manufacturing company with over 30 years of expertise, specializing in innovative textile solutions for the footwear industry. Headquartered in Singapore, Cosmostar Singapore Private Limited (CSG) manages advanced manufacturing operations in China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Our product portfolio includes performance linings, fashionable uppers, and sustainable materials, with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility.

To support our ongoing digital transformation, CSG is hiring an IT Director to oversee the Group’s technology function. This role reports to the Group CFO and is based at our Singapore headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise systems, IT governance, infrastructure, data architecture, and regional team coordination across our key entities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Shape and lead the Group’s IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals to drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation
  • Oversee enterprise systems and applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 ERP) and other core business platforms, ensuring integration, data integrity, and value delivery across entities
  • Establish IT governance and cybersecurity frameworks covering operations, access control, incident response, vendor management, and policy compliance
  • Lead data architecture and analytics enablement, including secure, structured data flows, data collection, storage, and the design of scalable data systems to support business insights
  • Manage IT budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective procurement, vendor engagement, and optimal allocation to meet business needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, recommend solutions, and implement system enhancements
  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team across jurisdictions, ensuring service delivery, capability development, and alignment with group goals
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 15 years of relevant experience in Information Technology with at least 8 years in a senior IT leadership position, ideally within a manufacturing or multi-entity environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or COBIT are a plus
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 ERP) and other enterprise systems
  • Strong background in IT governance, cybersecurity, and data architecture
  • Experience in managing IT budgets and vendors
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and regions
  • This role requires a Chinese speaking individual due to the need to communicate and collaborate with Chinese speaking stakeholder
  • Willingness to travel regionally for implementation and stakeholder engagement when required
