Job summary

ACG Management Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Technology Engineer to own the technology stack for our 50-person long/short equity trading workflow. You will maintain trading systems, automation, risk tooling, infra and security to reduce manual work each quarter.

You'll collaborate with portfolio managers, traders and middle office, expanding the OEMS/PMS and ensuring robust cybersecurity as we scale. Experience across Windows/Linux, cloud and Python is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology at hedge funds or related investment teams.
• Strong Python and SQL in production settings.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers and cloud (AWS or Azure).
• Self-directed with ability to scope a problem and ship a solution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain in-house enhancements to OMS and PMS to streamline execution, allocations and reconciliation.
• Build Python tools that replace manual daily processes across trading, operations and reporting.
• Design and maintain a risk monitoring dashboard with real-time exposure and limit alerts.
• Own the firm’s infrastructure (Windows/Linux, cloud, networking) and manage outsourced IT provider against clear service standards.
• Implement and maintain our cybersecurity framework in line with MAS guidelines, including access management and incident response.
• Keep trading workstations and critical hardware performant and current.

Senior Technology Engineer, Trading Systems and Infrastructure

The role in one line

Own the technology stack of a 50-person long/short equity manager end to end: trading systems, automation, risk tooling, infrastructure and security. You will be the person who makes the firm run with less manual work every quarter.

About ACG

ACG Management Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based, MAS-licensed investment manager established in 2009, with offices in Singapore and Tokyo. We run a multi-manager, fundamental long/short equity strategy in APAC listed equities, holding a large number of positions across sectors. We combine fundamental research with a growing quantitative toolkit, and technology sits close to the investment process rather than in a separate function.

Why this role is different

• You work directly with portfolio managers, traders and middle office. Requirements come from the people who use what you build, and you see the result the same week.
• Broad scope by design. One day you are extending the OEMS, the next you are tightening access controls or deciding how we use GCP. If you like ownership across the whole stack rather than a narrow lane, this is the seat.
• Real automation mandate. The explicit goal is to remove manual steps from the pre-trade to post-trade lifecycle. You will have the authority and budget to do it.
• Small team, senior mandate. You report into the COO and are the firm’s technology lead, with an outsourced MSP handling first-line support so you can focus on building.

What you will do

What we need from you

• 3 or more years in technology at a hedge fund, asset manager, broker, prop firm or fintech, or equivalent experience supporting trading or investment teams.
• Strong Python and SQL in production settings.
• Comfortable across systems and infrastructure: Windows and Linux servers, cloud (AWS or Azure), networking fundamentals.
• Practical interest in financial markets and how a trade moves from idea to settlement.
• Self-directed. You can scope a problem, pick a solution and ship it without a project manager.

Good to have (we will teach the rest)

• OEMS/PMS vendor experience (Enfusion, Eze, Imagine or similar).
• FIX protocol, Bloomberg API or other market data integration.
• Exposure to MAS TRM, ISO 27001 or similar security frameworks.
• Vendor or MSP management.
• Risk analytics or quant tooling.
