MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. seeks a detail-oriented FP&A professional to lead cost governance across enterprise technology spend.

You will evaluate IT expenses, reconcile ledgers to source documents, and audit CAM rules while building a monthly oversight framework for accuracy and discipline. The role requires 3–6 years in FP&A or technology finance, strong Excel skills (data modeling, formulas, pivots; PowerQuery preferred), and a meticulous eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of FP&A, cost governance, or technology finance experience in a complex environment.
• Expertise in financial reconciliations and tracing ledger balances to source documents.
• Knowledge of CAM, chargebacks, and activity-based costing methods.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (data modeling, formulas, pivots; PowerQuery is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve audit actions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate monthly IT expenses to identify cost drivers and unusual spend patterns.
• Perform cross-system reconciliations between central ledgers and source files, documenting discrepancies.
• Audit CAM distribution rules to ensure charges follow cost-sharing frameworks.
• Cross-examine expense allocations against consumption metrics, licenses, or asset counts.
• Collaborate with allocation owners to resolve misaligned mappings or obsolete rules.
• Inspect transaction records for proper authorization and supporting documentation.
• Ensure expenditures are booked against correct legal entity, cost center, and project code.
• Establish a structured monthly governance calendar with templates, deadlines, and action tracking.
• Audit monthly postings to verify approvals and update allocation logic as needed.
• Author a monthly MI report highlighting validated spend, adjustments, risks, and remediation steps.
