Platform Operations and Ticket Management
- Manage and resolve escalated support tickets across Google Workspace and Zoom, including Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, and Zoom Rooms
- Administer Google Workspace at an organisational scale: provisioning, deprovisioning, group management, OU structure, policy configuration, and licence management
- Configure and manage Zoom at an enterprise scale, including Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Device Management
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for recurring operational tasks, with a view to reducing manual effort over time
- Identify patterns in ticket queues and proactively propose and implement process improvements or automation opportunities
Project Ownership and Execution
- Own and lead complex platform projects end to end, including scoping, planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery
- Drive large-scale user migrations across identity providers and collaboration tenants, managing downstream impact across multiple integrated platforms
- Serve as a technical advisor to stakeholders on migration processes where a cloud directory serves as the upstream identity provider, covering implications for SSO, OAuth integrations, and downstream platform access
- Plan and execute device management migrations and endpoint transitions across large fleets of collaboration hardware
- Lead cross-functional rollouts of new collaboration tooling across distributed global sites, coordinating with local IT teams and network infrastructure teams
- Implement and configure Data Loss Prevention controls within Google Workspace on a project basis, including policy design for detecting and restricting the handling of sensitive data such as PII across Gmail and Google Drive
Automation and Tooling
- Read, understand, and safely execute automation scripts, including those generated with AI assistance, within privileged admin environments
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to extend and improve existing automation tooling built in Python and Google Apps Script
- Progressively take ownership of building reliable, safe, and well-documented scripts and automation workflows independently
- Apply a critical eye to AI-generated code. You are expected to understand what a script does line by line before executing it, particularly in contexts involving admin-level permissions
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, and business units on matters relating to Google Workspace and Zoom
- Communicate clearly and proactively on project status, risks, and technical implications to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to support knowledge transfer and team scalability
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in a corporate IT, systems administration, or collaboration platforms role
- Demonstrable experience managing enterprise SaaS platforms at scale, supporting thousands of users or more
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to cross‑functional IT projects involving multiple stakeholders and platforms
- Background in a corporate IT environment preferred; managed service provider or vendor‑side experience will be considered
- Strong foundational understanding of cloud‑based identity concepts: directory services, SSO, OAuth 2.0, and the upstream and downstream implications of identity changes
- Proficiency with at least one enterprise collaboration or productivity platform, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Google Workspace experience is strongly preferred; candidates with Microsoft 365 or equivalent platform administration backgrounds will be considered given the transferability of core skills
- Familiarity with DLP policy configuration, MDM platforms, or endpoint management within a cloud‑based environment is an advantage
- Zoom administration experience is a plus; the platform has a manageable learning curve for strong candidates
