Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Business and Solution Analyst to drive feature development for banking IT systems.

You will own end-to-end lifecycle, lead requirements, design and implement rules in GPP, and coordinate UAT with stakeholders across payments hubs and cash management applications. The role requires 7+ years in banking IT, strong ISO 20022/SWIFT experience, and excellent documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years as a business analyst with banking IT systems.
• Hands-on with Global PayPlus (GPP) v4.6.24+.
• Experience in cash management and payment file formats ISO 20022/SWIFT.
• Solid documentation and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, ACH.
• Ability to lead design and implementation of complex features.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature development lifecycle and delivery.
• Lead as feature owner; analyze requirements, estimate topics, engage stakeholders.
• Design solutions, configure and implement rules in GPP.
• Provide detailed WBS estimates for planning and execution.
• Support test automation and ensure acceptance criteria with data.
• Validate end-to-end results with product owner sign-off.
• Coordinate UAT handover and production delivery support.
• Maintain and support cash management and reporting apps.

Job description

• You’ll will be accountable for driving the entire lifecycle of feature development and delivery.
• Lead as a feature owner, taking charge of feature requirement analysis, estimation for the topic, stakeholder engagement, requirement baseline establishment, and collaboration with technical leads and product owners
• In addition to business analysis, you will be responsible for solution design, configuration and rule implementation in GPP (Third party product)
• Provide detailed estimates for work break down structure (WBS) to facilitate project planning and execution
• Supporting test automation for the design/execution/maintenance of the automated test suites
• Drive the creation of requirement, setting up acceptance criteria’s with test data for automation and ensure thorough grooming of requirements for developers.
• Validation of development/automation results, performing end-to-end testing of complete feature with product owner agreement for test cases as well as in validating the results.
• Oversee the feature handover for UAT testing with all evidence of end-to-end testing and including support until delivery to Production.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the existing cash management & reporting applications, ensuring its stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive project success.

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevantbusiness analystandsubject matter expertisewith banking IT systems (payment systems and core banking applications).

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Global PayPlus (GPP) payment engine (version 4.6.24 and above).

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Programming & Systems Analysis, or equivalent.

• Experience as a Business and Solution Analyst, preferably in cash management, with expertise in financial standards and detailed knowledge of payment file formats ISO 20022 and SWIFT. Experience with payment field/value mapping and validations.
• Preferably with knowledge on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
• Proficient in gathering requirements, possessing excellent documentation skills, and demonstrating effective communication abilities to ensure clear understanding and alignment among stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge in creating feature files, ensuring thorough documentation and clarity in specification of development teams.
• Strong understanding of application flow and architecture, enabling the ability to grasp the global picture and conduct effective requirements analysis
• Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of complex features and applications.
