Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking an experienced Supply Chain IT professional to lead cross‑functional SAP and non‑SAP initiatives in a global manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will architect complex processes, ensure system reliability, manage integrations across ERPs, and partner with risk and operations teams to drive efficiency. A Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Over 7 years’ experience implementing SAP and non‑SAP solutions in Supply Chain and related areas.
  • Hands‑on SAP MM functional and configuration experience, along with working knowledge of some non‑SAP Supply Chain applications.
  • Technical and analytical skills to support troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and solution delivery.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in improving business processes and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets complex business challenges and delivers innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Drives business‑IT alignment through solution discovery, service management, project and demand portfolio management, and proactive stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Architects and designs complex, cross‑functional business processes and application solutions to meet global supply chain needs.
  • Provides and oversees business application support services to meet performance, availability, SLA, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Delivers project and operational services within Supply Chain and integrated domains within approved budgets.
  • Ensures adherence to GIS/IT governance frameworks and supports SOX compliance activities.
  • Plans and manages medium to large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives to ensure effective execution.
  • Oversees and manages contingent resources across projects and service areas.
  • Owns accountability for the overall health, stability, scalability, and performance of Supply Chain applications.
  • Lead and governs system integrations and data flows across ERPs, planning, logistics, manufacturing, and analytics platforms.
  • Partners with business and risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate technology‑related supply chain risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Global Supply Chain processes and enabling technologies. Interprets complex internal and external business challenges and recommends industry best practices. Solves highly complex problems by taking a broad, end‑to‑end perspective to deliver innovative, scalable solutions. Operates independently with guidance required only in the most complex or ambiguous situations. May lead cross‑functional initiatives or functional teams.
  • Serves as a primary interface and trusted technology partner across multiple business and functional groups including Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service, Finance, and Manufacturing. Drives business‑IT alignment through solution discovery, service management, project and demand portfolio management, and proactive stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Architects and designs complex, cross‑functional business processes and application solutions to meet global supply chain needs. Translates business designs into clear functional and technical specifications. Oversees application configuration, data conversions, and execution of testing strategies (unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance). Identifies and recommends industry best‑known methods (BKMs), integration patterns, and architectural standards.
  • Provides and oversees business application support services to meet agreed performance, availability, SLA, and customer satisfaction targets. Ensures proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and system stability. Leads root cause analysis and resolution of incidents and systemic issues in coordination with infrastructure teams, vendors, and service providers. Drives corrective and preventive actions and plans lifecycle activities including patches, point releases, and major upgrades.
  • Delivers project and operational services within Supply Chain and integrated domains within approved budgets. Develops project and service budgets, understands cost models and cost drivers, and recommends cost optimization opportunities. May be responsible for maintenance, subscription renewals, and vendor financial management.
  • Ensures adherence to GIS/IT governance frameworks, including project management, SDLC, testing, service management, change management, root cause analysis, and operational controls. Supports SOX compliance activities, including execution of controls, documentation, and coordination of internal and external audits.
  • Plans and manages medium to large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives to ensure effective execution aligned to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Oversees and manages contingent resources across projects and service areas, including selection, onboarding, offboarding, workload assignment, quality assurance, and approval of time and cost submissions.
  • Owns accountability for the overall health, stability, scalability, and performance of Supply Chain applications. Continuously evaluates opportunities to modernize platforms through emerging technologies, automation, analytics, and AI‑driven capabilities to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Lead and governs system integrations and data flows across ERPs, planning, logistics, manufacturing, and analytics platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and end‑to‑end process visibility across regions.
  • Partners with business and risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate technology‑related supply chain risks, including system resiliency, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational continuity in a global, multi‑region environment.
