Job summary

MAVENTREE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an IT Application Business Analyst to drive IT projects across Data Platform, Data Visualization Platform and AI/ML initiatives. You will study requirements, oversee procurement, and manage maintenance of applications.

The role requires 5+ years in IT, 3+ years as IT Application BA, cloud training, and hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI, plus Agile delivery. Experience in vendor/contract management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of relevant IT Application Analyst experience.
• Must have attended Cloud Technology training and at least 1 year implementing Cloud Services.
• Experience on at least one project with Agile methodologies, tools and delivery.
• Minimum 2 years of data visualization experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Vendor & contract management, Change/Service Management experience is a plus.

Job description

Scope of work:

The IT Application Business Analyst will be working on IT projects relating to the Data Platform, Data Visualization Platform, AI/ ML Platform and other data related projects.

Job Scope:

Involve in strategizing and implementation of projects and initiatives involving the requirements study, procurement, management & maintenance support of applications.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in IT.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT Application Business Analyst experience.
• Must have attended relevant Cloud Technology training (eg AWS, Azure etc) and process a minimum of one year experience implementing Cloud Services.
• Must have worked on at least one project with practical experience in Agile methodologies, tools and delivery.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in data visualization and be proficient in using Business Intelligence (BI) tools (eg Tableau, Power BI etc).
• Business Analyst with recent experience in vendor & contract management, Change Management / Service Management / Service Request Management, Problem / Incident Management will be an added advantage

Technical Skillset:

• Experience in support databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Cosmo, Postgres etc).
• Experience in Big Data Technology (eg Spark, Airflow, Delta Lake etc) and Tools (eg Amazon EMR, Azure Synapse, Databricks etc)
• Experience in supporting microservices, DevOps with automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment. Experience in support IT audit fieldwork.

General Skillset :

• Business Analyst with experience in supporting Applications Operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills, good writing skills and analytic skillset will be an added advantage.
• Experience in supporting government projects and with relevant healthcare domain knowledge.
