Job summary

MiRXES in Singapore is seeking an Intellectual Property Manager to develop, protect, and maximize the value of its IP portfolio across diagnostics, software, and platform innovations. You will work with R&D, regulatory, and external counsel to drive filing strategies and ensure freedom-to-operate.

The ideal candidate has a strong IP background, with 5–10 years of experience, a degree in life sciences or law, and the ability to navigate multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, molecular biology, biotechnology, genomics, biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, law, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred (PhD in science or JD in IP law).
• 5–10 years in IP management, patent strategy, tech transfer, or IP operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IP strategy aligned with business and product goals.
• Lead invention disclosure activities and coordinate with external counsel.
• Manage patent portfolio, deadlines, and prosecution across jurisdictions.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses and assess IP risks for programs.
• Support licensing, collaborations, and due diligence related to IP.
• Establish internal IP processes, training, and reporting.
