Job summary

METABOTS in Singapore is seeking an IoT & Technical Support Leader to manage IoT analytics, system integration, and technical support for automated cleaning robots and IoT-enabled machines.

You will analyze data, develop dashboards, coordinate with partners, and provide remote and on-site support, installation, and training. Fluency in Chinese and English is required, with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, IoT, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in IoT, robotics, automation, technical support, or connected equipment preferred.
• Good understanding of IoT platforms, APIs, system integration, cloud connectivity, and data analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Professional with excellent oral & written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in Chinese and English to liaise with international teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Power BI or analytical tools are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage IoT-connected robots and cleaning machines.
• Analyze fleet data to monitor performance, utilization, downtime, and alerts.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support business and operational decisions.
• Manage IoT connectivity (SIM, 4G/5G and Wi-Fi).
• Support API, backend, and third-party system integrations.
• Troubleshoot IoT, software, connectivity, and backend issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and technology partners on technical and integration issues.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.
• Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Coordinate & handle repairs, component replacement, and preventive maintenance.
• Support machine installation, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Maintain service records and coordinate complex issues with internal, back-end, and manufacturer teams.

Roles Description:

As the IoT & Technical Support Leader, you will manage IoT, analytics, system integration, and technical support for automated cleaning robots and IoT-enabled machines. You will solve technical issues and work closely with clients, internal teams, and technology partners to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities: IoT& Analytics (60%)

• Manage and monitor IoT-connected robots and cleaning machines.
• Analyze machine and fleet data to monitor performance, utilization, downtime, and alerts.
