Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an experienced IoT connectivity engineer to design, implement and maintain industrial data flows across PLCs, sensors and gateway devices. You will build robust edge apps and data pipelines, ensuring testing, monitoring, security and operational stability in hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience with PLCs and IoT platforms.
• Experience designing, configuring and operating PLC systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA and industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, S7, TCP, UDP, Ethernet, Modbus, PROFINET).
• Experience with IoT platforms and technologies (Siemens PLCs, Kepware, ThingWorx, Linux).
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash and scripting environments.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and databases (Oracle, Tibero, SQL).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with C#, Java, Spring Boot and Vue.js.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience designing, configuring and operating PLC systems.

• Experience with IoT platforms and technologies, including Siemens PLCs, PTC Kepware, PTC ThingWorx and Linux.
• Technical proficiency in PowerShell, Bash and comparable scripting environments.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and database management technologies, including Oracle, Tibero and SQL.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with C#, Java, Spring Boot and Vue.js.
