Job summary

remotepeople is seeking a mobile-focused software developer in Singapore with 1-3 years of experience to work on iOS and cross‑platform features. You will contribute to design, development, integration testing, and launch of AI agent features, while maintaining code quality and documentation.

The role requires hands-on experience with Swift, React Native, and collaboration in an English-speaking environment. Familiarity with AI tools and testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software development experience with a shipped mobile app.
• Strong Swift knowledge and iOS fundamentals (UIKit/SwiftUI).
• Hands-on React Native project experience.
• Experience with AI agent features and integration testing.
• Basic understanding of prompting, context, streaming, and tool calls in LLM apps.
• Experience applying AI coding tools in coding, testing, debugging, or refactoring.
• Able to discuss AI use cases, productivity gains, and code quality.
• Solid understanding of data structures and OOP.
• Proficient in Git for daily collaboration.
• Proactive learner and able to apply code review feedback.

Job description

• 1-3 years of software development experience, with a mobile app that has shipped to production
• Familiar with Swift and iOS development fundamentals, including UIKit or SwiftUI, networking, data storage, lifecycle management, and concurrency
• Hands-on React Native project experience, able to build common cross-platform features
• Has been fully involved in the design, development, integration testing, and launch of at least one AI agent-related feature
• Basic understanding of prompting, context, streaming responses, and tool calling in LLM applications
• Practical experience applying AI coding tools in coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, or code comprehension
• Able to speak to concrete AI coding use cases, productivity gains, and how code quality is maintained
• Understands data structures, object-oriented design, and common software engineering principles
• Able to use Git for day-to-day collaborative development
• Basic troubleshooting ability — able to use logs and debugging tools to analyze issues
• Values code quality, testing, and user experience
• Able to use English for daily work communication, technical discussions, and reading documentation
• Proactive learner, able to understand and apply code review feedback

Nice to Have:

• Experience independently building and publishing an app to the App Store
• Familiar with SwiftUI, Combine, or Swift Concurrency
• Experience with React Native native modules or hybrid app development
