Job summary

Asia Properties & Assets Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced senior engineer to design backend REST APIs in Java/Spring Boot and to deliver rich frontend features with React/Next.js. You will model data in PostgreSQL, write migrations with Flyway, and work with AWS services for deployment and operations.

The role requires 5+ years of full‑stack experience, strong Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript skills, plus familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack or front-/back-end engineering experience delivering features end-to-end.
• Proficient in Java + Spring Boot (MyBatis-Plus, Spring Security, RESTful API design).
• Proficient in React/Next.js + TypeScript with understanding of App Router and state management.
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL design + SQL tuning; familiarity with Flyway migrations.
• Hands-on AWS experience (RDS, S3, SQS, or similar); Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Familiar with AI coding tools to accelerate development and review AI-generated code.

What you'lldo

• Design and implement backend REST APIs using Java + SpringBoot
• Build Dashboard frontend features using Next.js / React /TypeScript / Tailwind CSS, including data views, forms, charts (Recharts), and PDF export interactions
• Design data models and write migration scripts on PostgreSQL(with pgvector) + MyBatis-Plus / Flyway
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure (RDS, ElastiCache, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager), including deployment and operational troubleshooting
• Write unit tests (JUnit 5 / ArchUnit) and end-to-end tests(Playwright) to uphold code quality and architectural constraints
• Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to turn PRDs into maintainable, extensible technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of full-stack or front-/back-end engineering experience, able to independently deliver complete features from frontend pages to backend endpoints
• Proficient in Java + Spring Boot (MyBatis-Plus, Spring Security, RESTful API design)
• Proficient in React / Next.js + TypeScript, with a solid understanding of the App Router, componentization, and state management
• Strong command of PostgreSQL relational database design and SQL tuning, and of migration tools such as Flyway
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, covering at least two of RDS, S3, SQS, ElastiCache, and Secrets Manager
• Proficient with AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate day-to-day development, and able to review and validate AI-generated code before safely integrating it into production
• Excellent engineering fundamentals: clean code, design patterns, automated testing, Git-based collaboration
• Able to work from a PRD / technical design doc to independently break down requirements and turn them into a technical solution
• Hands-on experience with Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD
• Able to read and write Chinese, and comfortable reading Chinese technical docs/PRDs
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building and integrating a Node.js /TypeScript + LangChain / LangGraph AI agent service (knowledge-base retrieval, conversational workflows, business tool calling)
• Experience with LLM agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex, or with RAG (retrieval-augmentedgeneration) application development
• Experience with vector databases (e.g. pgvector) or semantic search
• Experience integrating with the WhatsApp Business API /Meta Cloud API or other messaging platforms
• Background in finance/property management/ERP-style SaaS product development
