GENINNOV PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Research / Quant Intern with strong tech, numerical and data skills to work directly with portfolio managers on company research, quantitative analysis and tools driving real investment decisions.

The role involves 4–6 months full-time (part-time considered during term) with potential to convert to a permanent role. You will research tech/semiconductor/AI software firms, build models, collect and analyze data using Python/SQL/Excel, and employ AI tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, CS, Math, Statistics, Physics or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy) and strong Excel; familiar with Git and GitHub.
• Solid grasp of statistics (regression, time series) and basic financial statements.
• Comfort using AI/LLM tools (Claude, Copilot, Gemini) in daily work.
• Curious about technology, markets; proactive, collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsabilités

• Research technology, semiconductor, AI and software companies; summarize earnings, filings and industry news.
• Build and update financial models, valuation and comparable-company tables.
• Write concise research notes for portfolio managers.
• Collect, clean and analyse financial, market and alternative data using Python, SQL and Excel.
• Back-test quantitative screens, factor models and trading signals.
• Support portfolio monitoring, risk and performance attribution analysis.
• Create charts, dashboards and tools that automate recurring research tasks.
• Use AI and LLM tools to speed up research and data extraction; manage code on GitHub.
