Engineers Gate is seeking intellectually curious graduate-level students to join one of our investment teams as a Quantitative Research Intern in our Singapore office. The internship offers hands-on exposure to signal development, data infrastructure, and the full quantitative research process, with potential consideration for a full-time role.

Ideal candidates have a Master's in a quantitative field, strong Python skills, and a passion for rigorous statistical validation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong programming skills in Python.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop alpha signals that combine sound economic reasoning with rigorous statistical validation
• Scout, read, digest, and implement research papers competently and efficiently
• Develop reusable research tools that make the research process faster and more robust
• Write clean, well-documented, production-quality code
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly
• Turn raw, varied datasets into clean, validated inputs for global equities alpha research
