Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore is seeking an Investment Analyst to join the team. The role involves conducting fund research, manager due diligence, portfolio analysis, and providing client-facing investment support.

You will work closely with senior investment professionals to evaluate fund selections, asset allocations, and fund switches, while preparing updates and materials for clients and distribution partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis, fund research, portfolio construction, or a related investment role.
• Prior mutual fund/ unit trust/ FoF experience is required.
• Strong understanding of fund selection, manager research, and portfolio management concepts.
• Excellent Excel skills; VBA or programming experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fund research, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of investment strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend fund selections, asset allocation changes, and fund switches.
• Support portfolio managers with investment research and actionable portfolio insights.
• Prepare investment updates, presentations, factsheets, and portfolio review materials for clients and distribution partners.
• Liaise with external fund managers and support investment-related client communications.
