Job summary

KIBO INVEST PTE. LTD. is seeking an Investment Analyst in Singapore to support our investment and operations teams across the deal lifecycle. You will assist due diligence, prepare investment materials, monitor portfolio performance, and support internal operations in a small, fast-moving team.

The role offers exposure to sourcing and diligence, transaction coordination with counsel, and ongoing market research. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong analytical skills and curiosity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Investment Analysis: support due diligence with financial models, market sizing, and comps; prepare memos and summaries.

• Market & Portfolio Monitoring: track industry/regulatory developments; monitor portfolio companies' public communications; utilize AI-assisted research tools.
• Operations: assist day-to-day admin tasks; help prepare internal presentations and reports; take on ad hoc projects.

About the Firm

We are a Singapore-based private investment office. Formed about a decade ago, we have a developed private equity program that invests directly and through external managers. We invest across multi-asset strategies in both public and private markets, including international real estate, seeking risk-adjusted returns agnostic of asset class.

Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support our investment and operations teams. This is a broad-based role offering exposure to how a private investment office functions, from sourcing and diligence through portfolio monitoring, deal documentation, and internal operations. The role touches most parts of the investment lifecycle rather than being confined to a single function.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis

• Support due diligence on prospective investments, including financial modeling, market sizing, and comparable analysis
• Prepare investment memos, summaries, and supporting materials for internal review
• Track portfolio company performance and assist with periodic reporting

Deal & Documentation Support

• Assist in reviewing term sheets, subscription documents, and other transaction materials, working alongside external counsel and internal stakeholders
• Help maintain organized records of deal terms, governance rights, and compliance obligations across the portfolio
• Support coordination between investment, legal, and operational workstreams during transaction execution

Market & Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive developments relevant to the firm's investment themes, drawing on sources including news, filings, and social platforms
• Track portfolio companies' public communications and market positioning
• Appropriately use AI-assisted research and writing tools to synthesize information and support faster turnaround on internal materials

Operations

• Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across the investment office
• Assist with the preparation of internal presentations, reports, and correspondence
• Take on ad hoc projects as they arise, reflecting the size and pace of a small investment team

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a small, lean, and fast-moving team
• A working knowledge of financial statements and basic valuation concepts, whether formally studied or self-taught
• Financial modelling experience or a demonstrable willingness to develop the skill quickly
• We value demonstrated interest more than stated interest, and look for evidence of sustained curiosity and initiative in investing, business, markets, or entrepreneurship

Good to Have

• Prior exposure to finance, investing, accounting, or related fields through internships, employment, entrepreneurial ventures, or self-directed learning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of data tools or programming (Python, R, Bloomberg) is a bonus
• Comfort with AI tools for research synthesis, drafting, or data organization, and familiarity with social media platforms as information sources

Open to candidates from any academic background, whether polytechnic or university, and from any discipline including finance, economics, business, law, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, data science, or beyond.
