Job summary

Koru Partners is seeking an Investment Analyst to join our thematically driven firm in Singapore. You will research macro, thematic, industry and company opportunities, build financial models, and contribute to due diligence alongside a growing team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in investment banking or related fields, strong English communication, and a proactive, independent work style. You will help shape investment ideas and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, investment-related or relevant fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Proficient in financial modelling and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Research on macro, thematic, industry, and company topics.
• Prepare detailed presentations, reports, and financial models.
• Develop independent views on investment opportunities.
• Manage investment due diligence with multiple stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze performance of existing investments.
• Collaborate to design the investment process and framework.
• Liaise with Product team to develop in-house analytics tools.
• Assist other departments as required.

Currently, we are primarily focused on late stage private opportunities as well as public equities but will shortly be expanding into other asset classes. What You Can Expect

Salary:

SGD 6,000 to 11,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Research on wide-ranging topics that include macro, thematic, industry, and company.
• Prepare detailed presentations, reports, and financial models.
• Develop independent views on investment opportunities.
• Manage investment due diligence process and various stakeholders involved.
• Monitor, review, and analyse the performance of existing investments.
• Collaborate in the design of the investment process and framework.
• Liaise with the Product team to develop in-house analytics tools.
• Assist other departments (such as Operations, Finance, etc.) as and when required.

Essentials to Have

• At least 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, investment-related or relevant fields with a preference for direct experience in public and/or private equity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
