FACEBOOK SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced investigator to join the Central Investigations team in Singapore.

You will analyze fraud and scams across Meta platforms, assess threats, and collaborate with Policy, Engineering, and Integrity teams to protect users and ensure safe digital environments. The role requires deep investigative and analytical skills, the ability to handle sensitive information, and experience with large data sets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in investigations or analysis in law enforcement, security, risk, or safety domains.
• Experience with sensitive issues involving adversarial actors and complex fraud networks.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify credible threat indicators and actionable intelligence.
• Subject matter knowledge on fraud and scams across social media platforms and online research tools.
• Experience handling and protecting highly confidential information.
• Experience communicating investigative findings and recommendations in writing to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Gather, analyze, and synthesize relevant data to identify potential abuse.
• Work with graphic and sensitive content on a regular basis.
• Make sound, timely decisions in time-sensitive threat scenarios with minimal supervision.

The Central Investigations team is dedicated to keeping users of the Meta technologies safe. We pride ourselves in helping prevent harm by applying deep subject matter expertise to identify and mitigate potential safety-related threats to keep Meta and its users more secure. Our team is seeking an experienced investigator who will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging, high-visibility risks the company faces and the opportunity to have a substantial impact.

We are seeking an investigator with experience in understanding and mitigating issues around fraud and scams. In addition to having a demonstrated investigative and analytical background, we are seeking an investigator who has experience with open source investigations and who is committed to protecting people. The successful candidate will be able to assess and analyze large amounts of data in order to identify sources of potential threats and abuses, operate independently in a fast-paced environment, and proactively collaborate with teams across the company.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent
• 8+ years of professional experience in investigations or analysis in law enforcement, security, risk, or safety domains
• Experience working with sensitive issues that include highly adversarial bad actors and investigating complex fraud and scam networks
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify credible threat indicators and actionable intelligence
• Subject matter knowledge on fraud and scams, especially pertaining to various social media platforms, analytical tools, and online research tools
• Experience handling and protecting highly confidential information
• Experience communicating investigative findings and recommendations in writing to cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Knowledge of data tools such as SQL, Python, or other data analytics programming coding languages and data visualization tools
• Experience working with a team spanning multiple locations/time zones
• Experience conducting open source investigations and/or investigations on behalf of a technology company
• Proficiency in languages other than English is preferred because the role involves investigating content and threats in specific non-English-speaking regions and communities served by Meta platforms
