Job summary

MARSUKA PTE. LTD. is seeking a meticulous Storekeeper to manage stock, oversee staff, and plan promotional campaigns for the store. You will ensure accurate receiving, storage, and inventory control, while maintaining hygiene and efficiency across the department.

The role requires experience in retail management or sales, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will work within opening hours and collaborate with Purchasing to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in retail management, marketing, or related fields.
• Experience in retail management or sales.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement retail promotion strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries to the correct point of storage area.
• Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.
• Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
• Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
• Monitor inventory levels for food items to ensure proper levels.
• Verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and quantity.
• Store storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.
• Conduct daily checks on storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas and hygiene compliance.
• Sign store requisitions by Department Heads (HODs).
• Ensure quantities requested match quantities issued.
• Enter store requisitions into Inventory/Materials Management System.
• Post invoices using MMS.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Document after-hours issues per internal controls.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures related to food and beverage.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine levels and needs.
• Assist Accounts Payable in cost discrepancies.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Update inventory management software daily.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to order and receive items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and manage returns.
• Track received inventory and produce reports/logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
