Job summary

Grasshopper Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned trader to develop and execute high-frequency intraday strategies in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage and optimize trading algorithms and systems, leveraging quantitative analysis to capture opportunities. Collaborate with trading, research and technology teams to refine models, monitor market conditions, and adjust strategies while ensuring compliance and robust risk management.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in high-frequency trading or portfolio management.
• P&L track record of USD 2M+ per year.
• Own or operate alphas/strategies and bring them to Grasshopper.
• Experience with index roll or index arb strategies.
• Strong knowledge of markets and trading technology across major exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-frequency intraday trading strategies (<24h).
• Manage and optimise trading algorithms and systems.
• Collaborate with trading, research and technology teams to refine models and strategies.
• Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies to stay ahead of trends.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and robust risk management.
