As an Intern in the Global Supply Distribution Department, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Freight Forwarding & Shipping Operations: Understand shipping operations and their needs to work on dashboards or forecasts that simplify TMO operations and presentation requirements.
- Project Management and coordination: Participate in projects with the relevant operation teams and present to stakeholders.
- Vendor management: Manage 3PL Vendors to ensure deliverables and KPIs are met.
- Programming to improve efficiency: Work with Python, Tableau, and Denodo on most projects to increase operational efficiency.
Your Role
- Hands‑on Logistics & Supply Chain matters of IFAP Distribution Centers: Daily operations and dashboard preparation.
- Project Management and presentation: Coordinate with key stakeholders across departments and present to IFX management.
- Vendor management: Attend monthly supplier evaluations and manage vendors to meet IFX target KPIs.
- Programming to improve efficiency: Utilize Python, Tableau, and Denodo to enhance departmental efficiency.
Internship Learning Outcomes
- Logistics & Supply Chain industry knowledge: Understanding of semiconductor logistics and their role in the supply chain.
- Programming knowledge and understanding: Exposure to programming languages such as Denodo, Python, and Tableau.
- Project Management skills: Learn to manage timelines and coordinate with key stakeholders, building relationship management capabilities.
- Freight Forwarder industry knowledge: Learn how Freight Forwarders & 3PL operate in the market and serve Infineon.
Your Profile
- On track to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Basic knowledge in Logistics & Supply Chain to accelerate learning of daily operations.
- Basic programming knowledge to expedite learning of Denodo, Python, and Tableau.
- Good personal relationship skills to manage stakeholders across departments for project coordination.
- Freight Forwarding / Shipping background to facilitate vendor/3PL management.
- Preferred internship period: Jan 27 – Jun 27.
