Internship Opportunities (Multi-Role)
We are looking for interns across multiple teams. The following roles are available:
Youth Worker Intern (YW)
- Assist in conceptualisation and planning of intervention group‑work programmes in schools for adolescents.
- Assist in engaging adolescents in 1‑1 settings and large group engagement to identify needs and steer them toward a positive trajectory.
- Participate in data analysis and develop intervention strategies based on data sets.
- Partake in learning and development sessions with the service group.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes
- Gain a better understanding of adolescent needs in the school setting, in the community, and among those with offending behaviour.
- Acquire interpersonal facilitation skills when working with adolescents and families in programme delivery.
Family and Community Service Intern – Roles and Responsibilities (FSC Core Programme)
- Casework & Counselling
- Undertake enquiries and case intake in accordance with CSWP framework.
- Manage assigned cases by conducting regular sessions/interventions following Care Corner Practice Frameworks.
- Maintain up‑to‑date practice documentation.
- Community Work
- Collaborate with the Community Work team to deliver community interventions at our service points.
- Group Work
- Support the Group Work team in delivering Children Life‑Skill Group Work to children in our service points.
- Others
- Undertake and assist with additional responsibilities, duties, or new projects as assigned by Centre Management.
Community Engagement and Volunteer Management Intern (VCE)
- Volunteer Recruitment and Deployment
- Volunteer Programme Planning and Execution
- Training & Curriculum Development – Assist in preparing training materials.
- Provide onsite support during training.
- Events Management – Support in preparation, execution, and operations of events.
- Administrative Duties – Collate reports, maintain volunteer database, upkeep website and data entry, and other tasks assigned by supervisor.
