Qualifications

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Interest in software engineering, enterprise systems, and the payments domain.
  • Eager to learn new technologies and the payments domain.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, enhancement, and delivery of payment systems and technology solutions.
  • Work alongside senior engineers to understand and contribute to enterprise‑scale applications and platforms.
  • Participate in system analysis, design discussions, coding, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support troubleshooting, issue investigation, and resolution activities within the payments ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Who You Work With

Group Engineering, within the Group Operations & Technology Division, plays a key role in driving OCBC's technology transformation. The team delivers secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that support the bank's businesses, customers, and operations. As part of the Payments Engineering team, you'll work alongside experienced software engineers, solution architects, and technology professionals who are responsible for building and enhancing the bank's payments capabilities. You'll gain exposure to enterprise systems, modern engineering practices, and the technologies that power digital banking experiences.

Who You Are
