Job summary

IETA, the international policy arm, seeks an International Policy Intern to support data-driven analysis of Article 6 developments. Based in Singapore, you will assist with reviewing official reports and tracking ITMO activity.

You'll contribute to public trackers, build data visualisations, and gain mentorship within a global carbon markets community. This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to APAC market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or postgrad in environmental policy, international relations, economics, law, or related field.
• Strong research and written communication in English.
• Interest in climate policy and carbon markets.

Responsibilities

• Review country reporting documents (AEF, initial reports, BTRs) and Article 6 LoAs.
• Access independent crediting programme registries to gather and verify data.
• Track the ITMO lifecycle from MOUs to transfers.
• Contribute to IETA’s Article 6 trackers, including data entry and visualisations.
• Provide ad hoc research support on APAC carbon market developments.
