Job summary

GenZero is seeking an Intern for the Investment Group (Carbon Ecosystem Enablers) in Singapore. You will join a team-driven environment to perform research across climate tech sectors and assist in evaluating investment opportunities.

You will develop financial modelling and create analyses and presentations for senior leadership, IC, and the Board while supporting portfolio activities and data room management. This internship offers growth in a fast-growing organisation based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing a degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, sustainability or related discipline.
• Strong interest in PE/VC and climate tech investing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Prior internship experience in VC/PE/investment banking/consulting or related field viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Perform industry and thematic research across the climate tech ecosystem with a focus on carbon management, energy transition, and adaptation & resilience.
• Assess TAM and growth potential for opportunities.
• Analyze competitive landscape and market dynamics.
• Identify key industry risks and considerations.
• Support the evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity/scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with the investment team to develop investment theses and prepare memoranda, analyses and presentations for senior management, the Investment Committee and the Board.
• Assist with portfolio support including reporting, value creation initiatives and data room management.
