Job summary

Grab is offering a Commercial Operations Intern role in Singapore, focused on improving processes and projects supporting merchant-facing products and commercial operations. The internship runs from January to May 2026 and is conducted on-site in Singapore.

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into practical solutions, use data to inform decisions, and gain hands-on experience in project delivery and process improvement, with exposure to SQL and Excel for metrics

• Assist and lead small end-to-end operational projects from problem definition to rollout and monitoring.
• Document, visualise, and refine operational workflows and onboarding flows.
• Partner with Account Managers and adjacent teams to prepare readiness for new merchant-facing products and policies.
• Analyse operational metrics using SQL and Excel to track outcomes and propose data-driven improvements.
• Create presentation decks to communicate project updates and business cases.

The Commercial team shapes and grows Grab's business in Singapore. We ensure close partnership with F&B, Enterprise Retail merchant accounts, and FMCG businesses. We develop plans and strategies to grow their sales and meet their needs across the different services in Grab, such as Ads, Pay, and Express.

As a Commercial Operations Intern, you will help improve the processes and projects that support Grab's merchant-facing products and commercial operations. You will work with teams to turn business needs into practical solutions, use data to inform decisions, and gain hands‑on experience in project delivery and process improvement. This full-time internship runs from January to May 2026, fully on-site.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will assist and lead small end‑to‑end operational projects with impact from problem definition and process mapping to rollout and post‑launch monitoring.
• You will document, visualise, and refine operational workflows, merchant onboarding flows, and support processes.
• You will partner with Account Managers, Leads, and adjacent teams (Product, Payments, Support) to prepare operational readiness for new merchant‑facing products, commercial policies, and payouts/commissions.
• You will analyse operational metrics using SQL and Excel to track initiative outcomes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data‑driven recommendations for cost optimization and process improvement.
• You will build clear presentation decks to communicate project updates, business cases, and takeaways.
