Job summary
Grab is seeking an Intern for the OmniCommerce team in Singapore to support Dine Out Deals and Reservations. You will engage in merchant onboarding, deal lifecycle tracking, and commercial analytics, reporting to the Senior Manager of OmniCommerce, and working onsite at One North.
You will gain hands-on exposure to merchant partnerships, deal operations, and cross‑functional coordination, with a data-driven culture that values curiosity and learning.
Qualifications
- Pursuing degree with graduation 2027 or later.
- Available for a full-time internship of at least 6 months in Singapore.
- Basic to intermediate SQL; prior data extraction or querying experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in weekly and monthly sales performance reporting, helping track merchant pipeline, deal activations, revenue attainment, and partner retention metrics.
- Help maintain sales dashboards to ensure the team has an accurate view of merchant performance and deal health.
- Help identify performance anomalies and assist with root cause analysis alongside the sales and commercial teams.
- Prepare performance data packs, business reviews, and ad-hoc analyses to support merchant conversations and updates.
- Translate data findings into clear summaries and visuals for stakeholders.

The OmniCommerce team sits at the intersection of dining, discovery, and commerce. We power two of Grab's most consumer-loved experiences. These are Dine Out Deals and Restaurant Reservations. They help diners find great value at their favourite restaurants. They also help restaurant partners grow their businesses through Grab's platform. We are a close-knit, high-ownership team that moves fast, backs every decision with data, and genuinely enjoys what we build. We are looking for an Intern to support the operations engine behind our Dine Out Deals and Reservations businesses. As part of the OmniCommerce team, you'll get hands-on exposure to merchant partnerships, deal operations, and commercial analytics. You'll gain real experience in how a fast-moving platform business works end-to-end. You'll assist in merchant onboarding, deal lifecycle tracking, partner performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination. This is a role for someone who is curious, data-driven, and eager to learn how commercial and operations functions work together to grow revenue and delight partners. You'll report to the Senior Manager of OmniCommerce, and work onsite at our Singapore One North office.
- Assist in the weekly and monthly sales performance reporting, helping track merchant pipeline, deal activations, revenue attainment, and partner retention metrics.
- Help maintain sales dashboards to ensure the team has an accurate view of merchant performance and deal health.
- Help identify performance anomalies and assist with root cause analysis alongside the sales and commercial teams.
- Identify friction points in how deals are set up, tracked, and fulfilled with the team, and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Help track sales initiatives and pilots, helping synthesise results into clear summaries for the team.
- Help maintain the operational health of the merchant onboarding and deals pipeline, coordinating with internal partners in product, finance, and merchant operations.
- Help prepare performance data packs, business reviews, and ad-hoc analyses to support merchant conversations and internal stakeholder updates.
- Work with the sales and merchant operations teams to share performance insights that help partners grow their presence on the platform.
- Run structured analyses on sales pipeline, campaign performance, merchant trends, and channel effectiveness under the guidance of the team.
- Support pricing and deals strategy with data, including analysis of deal mechanics, merchant ROI, and incentive efficiency.
- Translate data findings into clear summaries and visualisations for sales and commercial stakeholders.
- Currently pursue a degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; graduation expected in 2027 or later.
- Available for a full-time internship of at least 6 months in Singapore.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL; prior experience with data extraction or querying.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and basic data analysis.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills to tackle ambiguous problems and communicate findings concisely.
- A genuine curiosity about how platform businesses work, merchant and partner dynamics, and what drives commercial success.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Cursor. We are an AI-forward team, and interns who actively explore these tools to accelerate their work will thrive here.
